Melinda Lopez is a Program Manager with the Ortiz Group, and an Equity Consultant for the CalMTA Program. She is providing an equity lens as it relates to program design, community intervention, and strategic equitable implementation strategies. Focused on building public relations and community stakeholder engagement statewide are key drivers for the Ortiz Group. Her focus is ensuring all communities are represented and included in the decarbonization transition of California. 

She has experience in a variety of fields of communication, marketing, and managing. Meeting individuals and organizations where they are at, and embrace their day-to-day realities, creating the safe space for community collaboration.
